  • Reading

    I struggled to read as a child, but my parents pushed me and it was probably the most important thing they ever did. Since then I have loved reading both fiction and non-fiction.

  • Gaming

    I’ve been gaming since my father brought home a Commodore 64 during my childhood. Over the years this has expanded to playing on consoles, but also table-top roleplaying, card and miniature games.

    I tend to gravitate towards roleplaying games, including any that have a really engrossing story.

    I’ve been playing DnD and other games such as the Witcher since 2000, including writing and running my own adventures to run for others. It’s one of my avenues to be a storyteller, which I truly enjoy.

    I’ve been playing Warhammer 40k for several years now, including assembling and painting my own miniatures, which is enjoyable on its own.

    I have been playing Magic for as long as I have been playing DnD, although more recently most of my playing has been online with MTG: Arena

  • Walking

    A simple joy, and great exercise! Ideally I try to get 8-10 km everyday. It’s a good time to think, connect with nature, or to unwind listening to a podcast.

  • Movies and TV

    I’ve always loved storytelling, whether that be telling them myself or absorbing them from books, television and movies. As I’ve grown older a wider variety of movies have appealed to me, but I still have a soft sport for genre (fantasy, horror, sci-fi) and for B-movies in particular. One of my favourite shows is Mystery Science Theater 3000.
